How long software engineers go ?

Software engineers are some of the toughest jobs to fill. At least that’s what a new infographic from jobs and career community site Glassdoor, “How to Recruit Software Engineers,” says.

According to the infographic, 25 percent of software engineers plan to look for a job within three months, while 15 percent plan to look within the next six months. And surprisingly, 38 percent of software engineers who have been with their current employers 8-10 years are most likely to leave their job in the next three months.

97% of software engineers read the review about the company before they join.

And after joined the company, every software engineers started thinking of moving to other company which offers more money and more flexibility than the current company.

Article by economic-times says, A considerable portion of Indian employees are unhappy with their current jobs and 60 per cent of them are planning to look for a new job with another employer within a year, says a survey.

Interestingly, despite the signs of job restlessness, 68 per cent of Indian respondents say they are happy in their jobs, one of the highest scores across the 30 countries.

Before switching your job to other company consider some points below,
- What are you really unhappy with current job
- How you are going to manage your financial goals
- List out all the things you plan to do
- Check out all the previous statistics before you go with new plan
- Take your time to quit the current job
- Talk to many people who have quit as possible
